Tonight, the Eumenideia begins, a holiday for the Eumenides.
While I wait for my rice cakes to steam for their offerings, I’m writing up a quick roundup of things about the Eumenideia, the Erinyes, and all things related.
First, on Neokoroi, this is the Eumenideia ritual that I wrote what feels like an eternity ago. My honey cakes are now gluten-free, but my desire to honor the kindly goddesses is the same as ever.
Second, posts on KALLISTI about the Eumenides:
- To the Erinyes on 5 Puanepsion 699.1
- Two Old KALLISTI Posts: (1) The Relationship Between the Eumenides and Purification; (2) A Plug for Worshipping the Erinyes
- Poetry for the Eumenides
- Happy Eumenideia!
