It can sometimes seem despairing when we are online and see so much misinformation about the Gods, but look on the bright side: private personal rituals are becoming popular, and this make it so much easier to incorporate Gods into one's day.

Soul’s Inner Statues Live Beta
Since late November, I have been working on The Soul's Inner Statues in GitHub, a project that is meant to supersede many pages on this blog about developing a practice that celebrates many Gods. It is written for anyone getting started with a practice, and it combines practical advice with grounding in (to be honest, … Continue reading Soul’s Inner Statues Live Beta
For Athene
Athene of the summit, blazing with intellectual fire,Goddess who burns the perimeter around material desires, quenching them to embers, awakening the soul’s seedto grasp for the highest summit, may you hear this prayer,O daughter of Zeus and Metis, virginal and chaste, adorned with the aegis, shaking your shield, your spear reaching down into matter's deep recesses,a sign and … Continue reading For Athene
For Apollon, the Mousai, Mnemosyne, and Hermes
In November (or possibly late October), I wrote this poem to offer to the Gods while doing exercises to improve my grasp of formal poetic meter and rhyme — sitting down at my dining table, noise-cancelling headphones filled with ethereal meditative cello music by the artist The Wong Janice. I was reminded in passing, through … Continue reading For Apollon, the Mousai, Mnemosyne, and Hermes

Prayers to All of the Gods
I have made some updates to the prayers to all of the Gods that I published on my blog earlier this year, including the downloadable PDFs, mobi, and ePub files available on Gumroad. Here are the links, with the estimated time they take to use in ritual. Note that the time does not include any … Continue reading Prayers to All of the Gods
Prayer to All of the Gods III
This is the last of the three prayers that I wanted to write in 2021 — hopefully, a decent enough go at it. It's the most Platonic of the three (but, let's be blunt, that's all of them), and it was a good exercise in hammering out where I solidly understand Proclus' Platonic Theology and … Continue reading Prayer to All of the Gods III
Apollon and Plague
So [Khrúsēs] spoke in prayer, and Phoibos Apollo heard him, and strode down along the pinnacles of Olympos, angered in his heart, carrying across his shoulders the bow and the hooded quiver; and the shafts clashed on the shoulders of the god walking angrily. He came as night comes down and knelt then apart and … Continue reading Apollon and Plague
